The hospital’s diagnostic centre page also lists two shorter packages, Routine I at Rs 1,000 and Routine II at Rs 1,500, but does not publish which tests they include. Ask at the counter. The leaflet gives no GST line; the prices are shown as plain rupee amounts. The checkup is for men and women aged 25 to 75.

A few differences worth knowing before you choose:
- MHC-II is MHC-I plus an abdominal ultrasound, for Rs 350 more.
- CHC-I is the only package without calcium and phosphorus, and it also leaves out HIV and HBsAg. It adds Troponin-T and an echo cardiogram.
- WHC is the package with a gynaecology consultation and Pap smear.
- GHC-Female and GHC-Male add FT3/FT4, HbA1c and micro albumin; the male version adds PSA.
- CDC-I and CDC-II add chloride, HOMA index with fasting insulin and fasting C-peptide. CDC-II also has the abdominal ultrasound.
Which package suits you is a medical question; the hospital’s doctors, or your own, can advise.

The leaflet also offers a free eye test with any package, on the same day, until 5 PM.
How to take the checkup: step by step
- Choose the day. The hospital runs the master health checkup on all days.
- Fast. Eat nothing for 8 to 10 hours before; drinking water is allowed.
- Arrive early. Registration is from 5.00 am, first come, first served, for a limited number of people.
- Bring one attender. The hospital says an attender must come with you.
- Bring your records. If you want a clinical consultation, bring previous medical records and prescriptions.
- Collect the instruction set at the centre when you register.
Pregnant women are advised not to take X-ray tests, and women are advised not to take the checkup during their menstrual cycle.
Living near Saibaba Colony? You can give your blood and urine samples at the hospital’s Saibaba Colony branch (No. 115, 3rd floor, NSR Road, near S Band). Then take the ECG, X-ray, echo and ultrasound at the Singanallur medical centre within 5 working days, with a prior appointment.
